The path to the perfect high-tech textile took six years – now all the details are right: the structure of the textile, the base material, the fibres and their sheathing, the height of the pile. MaxxiSharp holds the worldwide patent for sharpening and polishing razor blades using microfibre fabrics and microfibre cloths.

This is due to the higher material quality of high-quality blades. They even gain in quality through treatment with MaxxiSharp: they are sharpened and polished after shaving, which further improves the shaving experience.
MaxxiSharp also works with cheaper disposable razors, but the results are not as good.

No. MaxxiSharp is designed to be used before and after every shave with a new disposable razor – MaxxiSharp can extend its life for many weeks and months. MaxxiSharp can extend the life of working disposable razors enormously. However, MaxxiSharp is not designed to repair old, badly damaged razors. Please dispose of broken razors accordingly.

If you use MaxxiSharp according to the instructions after and before each shave, the service life of your disposable razor will be extended by many weeks, even months. In internal tests, we have used some disposable razors for over a year.

MaxxiSharp is free from harmful substances and can therefore be disposed of with household textiles just like any other used textile. However, with its 250,000 rubbing cycles, MaxxiSharp is extremely durable. The question of disposal therefore only arises years later, even with the most intensive and correct use.

The MaxxiSharp pad can be washed in the washing machine at 40 degrees. Please do not tumble dry. Ironing is possible.

Yes, MaxxiSharp is 100% vegan.

The MaxxiSharp pad is very easy to use: Glide the dry, clean blade against the shaving direction with gentle pressure 5 to 15 times over the coloured side of the MaxxiSharp pad. The pad can be damaged if the blade is used in the direction of shaving, in which case the fibres will be damaged by the sharp blade.

Yes, the MaxxiSharp pad complies with EN 1021 1+2. A textile passes the relevant test, if it does not start to burn even when it comes into contact with flames and glowing cigarettes.
