MaxxiSharp: The high-tech textile

At the centre of MaxxiSharp is a pioneering textile technology developed in the EU and patented worldwide. The MaxxiSharp high-tech textile is produced in a specialised production line in the EU.

The MaxxiSharp high-tech textile is manufactured in a complex, multi-stage process. Microfibres are electrostatically applied to an extremely resistant carrier medium and fixed using a specialised technology. This process takes place in a 50 metre long vacuum processing line.

The MaxxiSharp high-tech textile also owes its outstanding resistance and durability to a special, patented technology that encloses each individual fibre with an invisible molecular coating made of completely ecologically harmless materials. The MaxxiSharp high-tech textile is 100% free from harmful substances.

This technology gives the MaxxiSharp high-tech textile its enormous resilience: every product with MaxxiSharp technology lasts for years, even when used intensively, sharpening, polishing and disinfecting disposable razors hundreds and thousands of times. The corresponding unit of measurement for the resilience of such a fabric is the number of rubbing cycles. By way of comparison, standard, high-quality textiles can withstand 18,000 to 20,000 rubbing cycles. The MaxxiSharp high-tech textile achieves 250,000 rubbing cycles.

The MaxxiSharp high-tech textile is extremely resilient, antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal. It can be washed in the washing machine as often as required and – because it is made from harmless materials and is PFC-free – can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
